Abstract

We propose an analytical modeling scheme and present a performance analysis of switching structure in the Batcher-banyan networks with internal speedup. Each queueing scheme in analyzed under different traffic distributions. In the Batcher-banyan networks with higher switching speedup, the performance of buffering techniques witch is dependant upon input and output traffic distributions affects the performance of total switching system. Therefore, we investigate queueing schemes for several Batcher-banyan networks using out proposed analytical modeling techniques, and address both input traffic and associated queueing performance issues using queueing scheme.
